Deep Haven Labyrinth
Installation Bricks and Grass 50.6' Chartres Style Labyrinth 11 Circuits/12 Walls |

After Robert Ferré finished laying out the labyrinth, it was our turn to go to work!
First things first. We had to raise this tree branch.
Then we had to make a final decision about materials.
How to dig out the walls?
We invited the Friends of the Deep Haven Labyrinth
to come help out.
It was a great workday, but progress was slower than we had hoped.
Since it can rain a lot in May in Minnesota we were
concerned about the paint disappearing.
Then we had to place the bricks into the trenches.
As we were laying the last brick in on Mother's Day,
May 9, 1999,
The installation was finished

The Deep Haven Labyrinths in Deephaven, MN were available to the public from 1999-2010. Deep Haven Labyrinths & Retreats is now closed. We sold the property and closed Deep Haven Labyrinths and Retreats in order to be more free to minister around the globe (including installing labyrinths) with Faith, Hope and Love Global Ministries. We welcome your comments and questions. |
