The DeepHaven Labyrinth was designed by Robert Ferré and installed by Jill Geoffrion and The Friends of the Deep Haven Labyrinth in 1999. It is a 51 foot diameter replica of the labyrinth pattern laid in the floor of Chartres Cathedral (outside Paris, France) in 1201 A.D. The pattern is a mathematical statement of the deep love of Christ. This labyrinth and surrounding gardens have been dedicated to spiritual awakening and reawakening.

You are welcome to come visit the DeepHaven Labyrinth and our other public labyrinths any time during daylight hours. Please do NOT call first, just come! Click here for directions. Park in the semicircle (the police don't like people parking on the street) and walk across the stepping stone blessing for pilgrims (Be safe and well; Peace, Love, Wisdom, and Courage) and enter the labyrinth between the angel statues. Follow the grass pathway that leads directly to the center. Spend as much time praying there as you would like, and follow the same pathway out.

The gardens surrounding the labyrinth have been designed to communicate the joy and wonder of faith. Notice the scents, colors, textures and sounds. They are meant to support the deepening of your prayer. The birdbaths, animal statuary and bird feeders are invitations to reflect on our connection with the wondrous diversity of God’s creation. Chairs and rocks are scattered around so that you can find a place to rest and savor the peace of this sacred environment.

There is information in the mailbox (by the bench on the side of the DeepHaven Labyirnth) which will point out the locations of our other labyrinths.
